For me, what has stood the test of time is the importance of offering a warm and understanding space where it feels comfortable to be vulnerable and curious about yourself. My goal is to help you in that exploration to come to closer to what you most value.

My Approach
Therapy is like a dress rehearsal for life. When you meet with me, I want to you feel safe practicing your lines, messing them up occasionally, and learning to be more confident in your ability to go out there and put on a good show. As such, I work to create a space where you can explore new possibilities of engaging with others or understanding yourself.
My Background
I began my mental health career in the United States Army in 2007. Following that stint, I worked in a myriad of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospice care, and university counseling clinics. At present, I maintain a private practice where I specialize in treating individuals coping with significant trauma, grief and loss, psychosis, and general relationship concerns. Additionally, I teach at the Universities of Denver and Colorado.
