My Approach
I provide a safe and judgement free zone that allows clients to heal from trauma and grief. As a therapist I strive to be culturally responsive. I work in compassionate and collaborative ways to help individuals create new beliefs about their lives and experiences. I have a deep appreciation for the powerful conversations I am able to be a part of and the role I play as an activist in my work. I offer individual tele-health services to adults seeking freedom from past trauma, grief and loss. I believe access to effective mental health care is a human right. Everyone should have easy access to healing. I am committed to working with individuals who seek a better life.
My Background
I specialize in working with refugees and international populations that have survived trauma, torture and xenophobia. I have specific training in global health topics, Narrative Therapy and working through grief and loss. I have over five years of training in psychology with a focus in complex trauma and PTSD. I received my Master's in International Disaster Psychology at the University of Denver. I currently run a private practice which serves individuals from marginalized and undeserved communities.
