Therapy is not about curing the defective, abnormal or uniqueness in individuals, but rather enhancing their gifts and strengths.

My Approach

I know we can’t make the best decisions when we feel ashamed, self-critical or judged. I know the best thing people can do for themselves is to reach out and get honest feedback from someone with an objective perspective. I love working with clients who have struggled because I’ve been through it myself. I have a deep understanding of that it’s like to feel hopeless, inadequate, addicted, different, etc. because I’ve lived it. AND.. I have found my way through. I believe it is because of my personal experiences that I am able to connect with people on a very real and intimate level.

My Background

After completing my Master's degree from Mount Mary University in Wisconsin in 2007, I moved to Maui, HI where I worked as a substance abuse counselor for several years. I obtained licensure as a psychotherapist in Denver, Colorado and have had the privilege of working with a diverse group of people across the spectrum. I feel honored that my clients have shown significant growth and improvement during treatment.
