"Therapy is not about curing the defective, abnormal or uniqueness in individuals, but rather enhancing their gifts and strengths. "

Lindsay 's Approach

The need to feel good enough can be overwhelming. This may be especially true for those who identify as being high-achieving, perfectionistic or sensitive. When they first come in, many of the men and women I work with feel alone and disconnected. They’re filled with thoughts of inferiority and negativity, but you wouldn’t know it. To others, they’re confident and self-assured. The truth is, their anxiety is getting in the way of creating and maintaining healthy relationships. They may have started engaging in unhealthy activities, like drinking more than they’d like or self-isolation.
