LSW, MSW8933 E Union Ave, Suite 220 Contact
I have created a safe space for your child/teen to talk about their feelings with zero judgment. I have been specializing in treating anxiety, depression, and emotional disorders with children and teens since 2006. If it turns out that your child needs to make big changes in their life I can help guide and provide them with a safety net and a place to explore their options and the possible consequences. I will challenge them when needed in a nonjudgmental way, and I’ll do it gently and only when it provides an opportunity for growth.
Jessica Ham Background
I have a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2006. In addition to private practice, I am also a practicing clinician at a Douglas County Charter School. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (License #LSW.0009923264) as well as a registered psychotherapist in the state of Colorado . I believe every person has the potential for change. I believe that therapeutic relationships are naturally healing. And even though what we talk about is important, I know that the relationship itself does a lot of the work. I watched close family members struggle with trauma and unhealthy coping mechanisms. That is what initially attracted me to this work. I believe that being free from fear and shame is a human right. If you are fed up with your child feeling bad and you’re ready for relief, I want you to contact me so that we can work together to create a better life for you and your child.
