MA, LPCC104 North Harrison Ave Contact
My philosophy is based in mindfulness, the somatic wisdom of the body, and in applying theory and techniques of gestalt therapy, helping clients come to healing in the here and now. Sessions may include talking, meditations, cultivating embodied awareness, experiential exercises, and humor. Individuals who work with me experience a direct connection to their truth. By integrating thoughts, emotions, and the body, and digesting and metabolizing past wounds and hurts, clients can come to feel freedom and the ability to make clear and conscious choices of what to do to be most happy and fulfilled in their life right now.
Daniel Halpern Background
I graduated from Naropa University in 2014 (BA in Religious Studies) and Regis University in 2019 (MA in Counseling), and received a certificate in Foundations Studies in Anthroposophic Social Therapy from Camphill Village Academy in 2010. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado. I have worked on a crisis phone line, in hospice care, with adults with developmental disabilities in several residential and community settings, and providing one-on-one therapy to individuals in an affordable counseling program. Since 2014, I have also been a student of Kedumah, a contemporary mystical school grounded in ancient spiritual wisdom, modern and post-modern psychology, science, and the somatic healing arts.
