I utilize evidence-based counseling theories such as: Attachment theory, Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Emotionally-Focused Couples therapy, Mindfulness-based interventions and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I lean heavily on Positive Parenting resources to guide parents. I find it an honor to be a resource for families involved in fostering or adopting children.
