Psychological Testing/Assessment/Evaluation

Psychological testing, assessment and evaluation are similar to medical tests. Psychologists use tests and other assessment tools to measure and observe a client’s behavior to arrive at a diagnosis and guide treatment. If you or a loved one is having problems at school, work, or in personal relationships, tests can help one understand whether there is an underlying cognitive or emotional disorder better helping your qualified mental health professional in  developing an appropriate treatment plan. Psychological assessments and evaluations typically include components such as surveys, tests, interviews, medical evaluation and observational data can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.
