Polyamorous and Open Relationships

A polyamorous or open relationship is a romantic and or intimate relationship with more than one person. These relationships are increasingly common and there is a wide range of what polyamory can look like. Because there is still much stigma surrounding polyamory, it important that individuals find a therapist to meet their unique counseling needs. A competent counselor will possess the degree of flexibility necessary to tune into potential conflicts and to work with the client(s) to assist them with personal and relationship goals, coping mechanisms and advocacy skills.
