Hypnotherapy, is a form of hypnosis that uses guided relaxation, focused attention and intense relaxation to achieve a sense of deep calm wherein a person’s attention is narrowed down and focused on appropriate suggestions made by the therapist. Hypnosis is often used as an adjunctive technique to help people with a variety of issues, such as quitting bad habits or coping with anxiety and depression.
