Crisis Counseling
Crisis counseling can help individuals cope with events that have triggered a crisis response within the individual. All people react differently, and for some, seeking mental health council is an important piece of recovery in the aftermath of a crisis. Crisis counseling is brief and time-limited with specific goals for achieving stability and maintaining feelings of safety. It is not a substitute for long-term counseling, but it can provide immediate relief and is often the first step for many who may need more intensive therapy.
